HCL YOUNG ENGINEERS’ PROGRAM (YEP)

HCL TalentCare, a new skill development and staffing venture from the HCL Group of companies. HCL TalentCare aims to enable fresh engineering graduates to launch successful careers in Information Technology through its unique skill and staff business model.

YOUNG ENGINEERS’ PROGRAM (YEP)

The Young Engineers’ Program (YEP) is a 6 month, full time, residential career development program which addresses critical skills required for desired transformation from student to a best-in-class professional, enabling the learner to launch careers in Application Development, Software Testing and Networking & Infrastructure Management. In the past year, over 500 engineering graduates have successfully completed the program and launched their careers at globally recognized Technology companies through HCL TalentCare.

YEP consists of a 3 month on-campus learning module and a 3 month on-job training module. All India Summer Bootcamp, Jalandhar

All India Summer Bootcamp, to be held at NIT Jalandhar from 25th May to 17th July 2015. All India Summer Bootcamp is an initiative by Uber Skills in partnership with Entrepreneurial Cell, NIT Jalandhar, that aims to provide a connecting link to some of the finest budding coders,ethical hackers and web developers and the industry.
Here are some quick bullets on the same:

Duration:
May 25th to July 17th (8 weeks)

Format:
4 days competition every week, where multiple industry problems are given to students and they build innovative solutions/working prototypes for the same. There will be workshops and mentors available during the hackathon to help students on various things from design to business and development. On 5th day, they present the solutions to a team of judges (industry experts) who decide the winners. On 6th day, there will be a half-day Industry-students interaction (optional for students). Have some fun over 1.5 days of weekend and get all charged up for the next Hackathon on Monday.
